הכי השתא התם אי אפשר להנחה בלא עקירה הכא אפשר לאכילה בלא הגבהה דאי בעי גחין ואכיל אי נמי התם אי בעי לאהדורה לא מצי מהדר לה הכא מצי מהדר לה

Now is this so? There the “putting down” is impossible without the “uprooting”; but here the eating is possible without the “lifting up,” for if he wants, he could bend down and eat. Alternatively, there if he wants to take it back, he cannot take it back; but here, he can put it back.
