ובועל בעילת מצוה ופורש ונוהג שבעת ימי המשתה ואחר כך נוהג שבעת ימי אבילות וכל אותן הימים הוא ישן בין האנשים והיא ישנה בין הנשים ואין מונעין תכשיטין מן הכלה כל שלשים יום

and he has the mandated act of intercourse and then separates from her. And [then] he observes the seven days of the [wedding] feast and after that he keeps the seven days of mourning. And [during] all these days he sleeps among the men and she sleeps among the women. And they do not withhold jewellery from the bride all the thirty days.
