אמר להו אי איכא מאן דשמיע עלי מלתא לימא אמרו ליה הכי שמיע לן דלא יהיב מר שבישא לאריסיה

He said to them, "If there be anyone who has heard aught against me, let him speak out." They replied, "Thus have we heard, that our master has not given the vine-tendrils to his labourer."
