ת"ר היה מהלך חוץ לכרך וראה אור אם עבה כפי הכבשן מברך עליו ואם לאו אינו מברך עליו

Our Rabbis have taught : Were one walking [at the conclusion of the Sabbath] outside the town and saw a light, if it is as thick as the opening of a furnace he says the benediction over it, but if it is not, he does not say the benediction over it.
