Rab Ashe retorted : Say that they must all be Rabbis ! But is it written, "In the assembly of elders" ? No, it is written, "In the assembly of the people." Then say: [He must offer thanksgiving] in the presence of ten ordinary persons and two Rabbis ! The question [remains unanswered].
