אמר לו יוסי פשוט ידיך וקבל עיניך פשט ידיו וקבל עיניו בכה ר' אלעזר ואמר (תהלים כה, יד) סוד ה' ליראיו ובריתו להודיעם

[R. Eliezer] said to him, Yosi, extend your hand and receive your eyes [for they will fall out for saying that this is a new thing]!
