אמר אמימר בת יורשת הויא אמר ליה רב אשי לאמימר אילו בעי לסלוקה בזוזי הכי נמי דלא מצי לסלוקה אמר ליה אין אי בעי לסלוקה בחדא ארעא הכי נמי דלא מצי מסלק לה אמר ליה אין

Amemar ruled: A daughter has [the legal status of] an inheritor. Ashi to Amemar: Should they wish to settle her claim by means of a money payment, they could not settle her claim. The other replied, “Correct.” “Should they desired to settle her claim by [giving her] one plot of land, they could not settle her claim.” The other replied, “Correct."
