R. Yose says: [This applies] to poor women if no time limit is given. What is the time limit. Rav Judah citing Shmuel replied: Twelve months. Rabbah b. Bar Hana said in the name of R. Yohanan: Ten years. R. Hisda said in the name of Abimi: Until the next festival, for the daughters of Israel adorn themselves on a festival.
