מי דמי התם שבועה לאחד ושבועה למאה הכא אמר אילו אנא הואי טעיננא טפי

But are [the two cases] alike? In that case, an oath for one person is the same as an oath for a hundred, but in this case he might well say, “Had l been present I would have made more convincing arguments.”
