אשכחן עשייה זכירה מנלן אמר קרא (אסתר ט, כח) והימים האלה נזכרים ונעשים איתקש זכירה לעשייה

We have accounted for the celebration [of Purim]; how do we know that the reading [of the Megillah must be on these days]? The verse says, “And these days should be remembered and kept” (Esther 9:28). “Remembering” is compared to “keeping.”
