שאני התם דאמר קרא מות יומת

But must [every] verse be [carried out] as written? Has it not been taught: 'He that smote him shall surely be put to death, he is a murderer?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Num. XXXV, 21, ');">²⁰</span> I only know that he may be executed with the death that is decreed for him.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., decapitation by the sword. ');">²¹</span>
