מאי בינייהו איכא בינייהו דאתי בתר איצצתא רבא אמר משום דהוי דבר שאין עושין הימנו מקוה ופוסל את המקוה בשינוי מראה

We learnt elsewhere: If wine, vinegar, or secretion [of olives]<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' A fluid given off by olives before the actual oil is expressed. It is in fact a kind of diluted oil. ');">²⁰</span> falls therein [a mikweh] and changes its appearance, it is unfit.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' V. Mik. VII, 4. ');">²¹</span>
