וכשמשביעין אותו אומרים לו הוי יודע שלא על דעתך וכו': למה לי למימרא ליה הכי משום קניא דרבא:

THE CLAIM [MUST BE AT LEAST] TWO MA'AHS. Rab said: The denial [in regard to] the claim must be [at least] two ma'ahs;<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'silver (pieces) '. The amount he denies must be at least two ma'ahs, and since the admission must be at least a perutah, the total amount claimed must be at least two ma'ahs and a perutah.');">¹⁰</span>
