GEMARA. Since even THREE LAYMEN [are sufficient],<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' To constitute a tribunal for halizah. ');"><sup>30</sup></span> what need is there for JUDGES? — It is this that we were taught: That three men are required, who are capable of dictating [the prescribed texts]<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Deut.
