אלא לרב שמואל בר יהודה קמייתא משום סימפון ובתרייתא משום סימפון מאי בינייהו

But according to R. Shmuel b. Judah the earlier [ruling of the] Mishnah is due to a bodily defect and the latter is also due to a bodily defect! What then is [the reason for] the difference?
