בית שמאי אומרים נוטלות כתובה ולא שותות ואמאי ספיקא הוא ספק זנאי ספק לא זנאי וקאתי ספק ומוציא מידי ודאי

Bet Shammai says that they receive their ketubah and that they need not drink. But why [should they receive their ketubah]? This is a claim of a doubtful nature, it being uncertain whether she had committed adultery or not; then how could an uncertainty override a certainty?
