Responsa for Sanhedrin 14:15

רב כהנא אמר מהכא (שמות כג, א) מלא תשא לא תשיא

Itis written: Neither shalt thou go up by steps [i.e. force thy way]upon My altar; and this is followed by: And these are thejudgments. The same verse continues: which thou shalt set before them. It shouldhave stated: which thou shalt teach them. R. Jeremiah, or according to some,R. Hiyya b. Aha, said: This refers to the insignia of the judges [which theyhave to set before the public].24

Shut min haShamayim

(Sanhedrin 7b:2) And who can truly examine and calculate how much flavour was exuded from a spoon? Some time later they responded: "One was Abraham," (Ezekiel 33:24) "Incline after the majority." (Exodus 23:2) *i.e., the opinion of R. Abraham b. David is rejected.
