דתניא א"ר שמעון בן אלעזר לא נחלקו בית שמאי ובית הלל על המפוזרים שבשדות שאין מביאין ועל המכונסין שבקרפף שמביאין על מה נחלקו על המפוזרין שבקרפף ועל המכונסין שבשדות שבית שמאי אומרים לא יביא ובית הלל אומרים

It was stated27Tosephta 3:10, Babli 31a. There the name is R. Simeon ben Eleazar.: “Rebbi Eleazar ben Rebbi Simeon said, the Houses of Shammai and Hillel did not disagree that one brings wood from the field from what was collected7Logs arranged in orderly heaps are arranged by humans for use by humans and therefore prepared for use on a holiday. Logs strewn around in disorderly fashion on meadows or in forests are not arranged by humans and therefore may not be collected on the holiday., but from a corral even what was strewn about. Where did they disagree? About what is strewn about in a field, where the House of Shammai forbid but the House of Hillel permit.
