שאני הכא דריע חזקייהו דאי לא תימא הכי למאן דאמר מעלין מתרומה ליוחסין כיון דאכלי בתרומה אתי לאסוקינהו אלא לאו משום דריע חזקייהו

It is different here, for their presumption has been damaged. For if you do not say so [then] according to him who says [that] they raise [a person] from terumah to being a priest, since they eat terumah they might come raise them! Rather it is because their presumption has been damaged.
