א צריכי דאי מהתם הוה אמינא להדיוט אבל לגבוה אימא לא נפסדינהו לכולהו
1 - They are both necessary: for if [I learnt] from there, I would say. That applies only to hullin; but as for sacrifices, Let us not cause the loss of all of them. While if [I learnt] from here, I would say. This applies only to sacred animals, because it is repulsive; but as for hullin, where it is not repulsive, I would say that though they are forbidden for any use, let them be annulled by the majority. Thus [both] are necessary.
