M. : R. Hiyya b. Abba, said in the name of R. Johanan.

Bore' besides meaning "createth" has also the meaning "is strong"; hence the interpretation here is "If the fruit of the lips [i.e. prayer] is vigorous, fluent, then I will heal him."
