That a father is required to perform for his son: For example, to circumcise him and to redeem him. And this is what is implied in our mishnah - "all mitzvot" that "a father" is commanded with regard to" the acts" of "the son."

Any mitzvah that a child must do for a parent is incumbent upon both the daughter and the son.
