If the greater part of an egg came out on the eve of the holiday, even though it is laid on the holiday, it is permitted. If it is laid on the sabbath, it shall be eaten on the holiday; if it is laid on the holiday, it shall be eaten on the sabbath. Rabbi Yehuda says in the name of Rabbi Eliezer: The controversy about this is still in place. As it is forbidden to eat, so it is forbidden to be carry. As its case of doubt is forbidden, so is the case of doubt regarding its existence is forbidden. Mix it up with a hundred others, they are all forbidden.

One who slaughters a chicken and finds inside in complete eggs (These are permitted to [eat on Yom Tov]). An egg where most of it has come out on the eve of Yom Tov (even though it was fully out on Yom Tov, it is permitted [to eat on Yom Tov]). [If] it was laid on Shabbat- it may be eaten on Yom Tov. [If] it was laid on Yom Tov- it may be eaten on Shabbat. Rabbi Yehuda says in the name of Rabbi Eliezer- Still there are arguments in that regard; Just as it is prohibited to eat [the egg], so too it is prohibited to handle it. Just as [where there is] a doubt [weather or not] it is prohibited, so too [something] that has a doubt [of weather or not] it is prepared is prohibited [on Yom Tov]. [If this egg] were to be mixed with even one hundred- all [the eggs] would be prohibited.

Rabbi Yehuda says, sweet pomegranates are forbidden in any quantity. How so? One of them [designated as terumah] fell inside ten thousand (רבוא) [of chullin], all are forbidden. [Even if] it fell from ten thousand inside another ten thousand, all are forbidden. Rabbi Shimon ben Yehuda says in the name of Rabbi Shimon, [if] one of them fell inside ten thousand, all are forbidden, [but if one] fell from ten thousand inside a third [container of ten thousand], and from the third [container] to another place, [at that point there is a] doubt whether they are forbidden because it is a a doubt regarding a forbidden mixture [which is treated leniently]. Said Rabbi Yehuda ben Bava (per MSS), "I am one of those fit to issue a ruling, and if they were to bring me beet shoots, I say, that they would be lifted up in [a proportion greater than] one hundred and one [to one], and not only that, the Beit Din should issue a ruling that in every case [involving any species, terumah mixed with chullin is] lifted up at one hundred and one [to one]."
