Rab Huna b. Berekiah said in the name of R. Eleazar ha-Kappar : Whoever associates the name of Heaven with his trouble, his substance will be doubled for him ; as it is said, "And the Almighty be thy treasure, and precious silver unto thee" (Job xxii. 25).

"Precious," to'afot, is here connected with the Aramaic root 'af "to double"; hence "and silver will be doubled unto thee." In what follows, it is connected with the Hebrew root 'uf "to fly"; hence "and silver will fly unto thee."
