רות מאי רות א"ר יוחנן שזכתה ויצא ממנה דוד שריוהו להקב"ה בשירות ותשבחות
"Ruth" — what means "Ruth"? R. Johanan said: Because she was worthy that David should issue from her, who delighted the Holy One, blessed be He, with songs and praises.
