Commentary for Berakhot 20:15
רב ושמואל חד אמר עלייה פרועה היתה וקירוה וחד אמר אכסדרה גדולה היתה וחלקוה לשנים
Rab and Samuel [discuss its meaning]. One says : It was an open chamber which they roofed in ; the other says : It was a large verandah which they divided into two [by erecting a wall].
