תנן התם הכל כשרים לקרות את המגילה חוץ מחרש שוטה וקטן ורבי יהודה מכשיר בקטן

We have learnt elsewhere in the Mishnah : All are fit and proper persons to read the Megillah, except a deaf person, a mentally defective, and a minor. R. Judah allows a minor to read.
