Commentary for Berakhot 46:6

מאי לאו אידי ואידי באיש ולא קשיא כאן לגדולים כאן לקטנים

It may be taken that both these teachings apply to a male, and there is no contradiction : the former referring to the major function of nature, the other to the minor.
