ואמר רב נחמן בר יצחק תדע דהטוב והמטיב לאו דאורייתא שהרי עוקרין אותה בבית האבל כדתניא מה הם אומרים בבית האבל ברוך הטוב והמטיב ר"ע אומר ברוך דיין האמת
Rab Nahman b. Isaac said : Thou mayest know that "Who art kind and dealest kindly" is not ordained by the Torah, because they omit it in the house of a mourner; according to the teaching : What do they say in the house of a mourner ? "Blessed... Who art kind and dealest kindly." R. 'Akiba said, "Blessed be the true Judge."
