ואימא חדש דכתיב (במדבר יא, כ) עד חדש ימים אמרי דנין ימים סתם מימים סתם ואין דנין ימים סתם מימים שנאמר בהן חדש

But might it not be said [that “days” means] a month, for it is written, “For a month of days” (Numbers 11:20)? Say: We compare an unspecified number of days with another mention of an unspecified number of days, but we do not compare an unspecified number of days with days about which it is said “a month.”
