אלא אמר אביי כדרב דאמר רב כגון רב שמואל בר שילת דאכיל מדידיה ושתי מדידיה וגני בטולא דאפדניה ולא חליף פריסתקא דמלכא אבביה כי אתא רבין אמר כגון מפנקי דמערבא

Rather Abaye said: This is in agreement [with a statement] of Rav who said [a man of leisure is one] like R. Shmuel b. Shilat who eats of his own, drinks of his own and sleeps in the shadow of his mansion and a king’s officer never passes his door. When Rabin came he stated: [A man of leisure is one] like the pampered men of the West.
