מאי קאמר אמר אביי הכי קאמר רגילה בפני בעלה שני כוסות שלא בפני בעלה נותנין לה כוס אחד אינה רגילה בפני בעלה אלא כוס אחד שלא בפני בעלה אין נותנין לה כל עיקר

What can this mean? Abaye replied: This is what it means: If she was in the custom [of drinking] two cups in the presence of her husband she is given one cup in his absence; if she is accustomed [to drinking] in the presence of her husband only one cup, she is given none at all in his absence.
