איבעית אימא באלמון יום אחד לברכה ושלשה לשמחה ואיבעית אימא בבחור שבעה לברכה ושלשה לשמחה

If you want, you may say that it refers to a widower: One day is for the blessing and three days are for rejoicing. And if you wish, you may say that it refers to a young man: Seven days are for the blessing and three days for rejoicing.
