Commentary for Ketubot 33:9
ת"ר מעבירין את המת מלפני כלה וזה וזה מלפני מלך ישראל אמרו עליו על אגריפס המלך שעבר מלפני כלה ושבחוהו חכמים
Our Rabbis taught: They move aside a funeral procession to make way for a bridal procession, and both of them for the King of Israel. They said of King Agrippa that he made way for a bride, and the sages praised him.
Rashi on Ketubot
Reroute - When the bride comes out from her father's home to the wedding hall and (at the same time) those accompanying a dead body (for burial) and both groups will be shouting (one group with joy and the other in mourning) and we don't want to mix the two we reroute (those accompanying) the deceased (even) if it is to a different route.
