Midrash for Taanit 7:7
יפתח הגלעדי דכתיב (שופטים יא, לא) והיה היוצא אשר יצא מדלתי ביתי וגו' יכול אפילו דבר טמא השיבו שלא כהוגן נזדמנה לו בתו
Eliezer, the servant of Abraham, as it is written, So let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, 'Let down thy pitcher etc.'<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Gen. XXIV, 14.');"><sup>8</sup></span> She might have been lame or blind, but he was fortunate in the answer given to him in that Rebecca chanced to meet him.

Others say: "which I did not command": This refers to the son of Meisha the king of Moav (viz. II Kings 3:27); "and which I did not speak": This refers to the daughter of Yiftach (viz. (Judges 11:31-40); "and which never entered My heart": This refers to Isaac, the son of Abraham (viz. Bereshith 22).
