Musar for Ketubot 206:11

ואימא רבי חנינא נח נפשיה ור' אפס כדיתיב יתיב ולא הוה ליה ללוי איניש למיתב גביה וקאתא איבעית אימא לוי לר' אפס מיכף הוה כייף ליה

But maybe R. Hanina died, and R. Afes continued to sit at the head and that Levi had no one to sit with him, and therefore came [down here]? If you want I can say: Levi would have submitted to the authority of R. Afes.

Mesilat Yesharim

Our sages of blessed memory expounded (Ketuvot 103b): "'he honors those who fear G-d' (Tehilim 15:4) - this refers to Yehoshafat King of Judah, who, whenever he saw a Torah scholar, would rise up from his throne, hug him, kiss him, and say to him: 'Rebbi, Rebbi, my teacher, my teacher'".
