Musar for Pesachim 226:16
ומניין היודע בחבירו שהוא גדול ממנו אפילו בדבר אחד שחייב לנהוג בו כבוד שנאמר (דניאל ו, ד) כל קבל די רוח יתירא ביה [ומלכא עשית להקמותיה על כל מלכותא]
Five things did Canaan charge his sons: Love one another, love robbery, love lewdness , hate your masters and do not speak the truth. Six things were said of a horse: it loves promiscuity, it loves battle, it has a proud spirit ' it despises sleep, eats much and excretes little.

HONORING OTHERS: The fourth division is granting honor to every person. Likewise we learned "who is honorable? He who honors the public" (Avot 4:1). They further said: "from where do we know that a person who knows that his neighbor is greater than himself in even one respect must show him honor?..." (Pesachim 113b).
