תניא נמי הכי של בית רבן גמליאל לא היו אומרים מרפא בבית המדרש מפני בטול בית המדרש:

There is a teaching to the same effect : Those who belonged to the school of Rabban Gamaliel used not to exclaim Marpe' in the House of Study because of the interruption it causes.
