ר' חייא בתר דמצלי אמר הכי יהי רצון מלפניך ה' אלהינו שתהא תורתך אומנותנו ואל ידוה לבנו ואל יחשכו עינינו.

R. Hiyya used to add at the conclusion of his prayer : May it be Thy will, O Lord our God, that Thy Torah be our occupation ; and let not our heart grow faint nor our eyes dim.
