Reference for Ketubot 135:3

ת"ר המסמא את עינו והמצבה את בטנו והמקפח את שוקו אינו נפטר מן העולם עד שיבא לידי כך המקבל צדקה ואין צריך לכך סופו אינו נפטר מן העולם עד שיבא לידי כך

Our Rabbis taught: One who pretends to have a blind eye, a swollen belly or a shrunken leg will not pass from this world before actually coming into such a condition. One who accepts charity and is not in need of it will not pass from this world before actually coming to [need charity].
