Is not the above passage self-contradictory? It states at first, '"With oil" signifies that it must have muc oil', and then it states, 'Here it is written, '"oil", and there in connection with the freewill meal-offering i also written, "oil"'!<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The purpose of the inference, namely to establish that not more than the normal quantity of oil (i.e., a log) is required, is contradicted by the verse which indicates the requirement of much oil, i.e., more than the usual quantity.');"><sup>12</sup></span>
