אמר להו רב נחמן זילו ואמרו ליה לעולא מאן ציית דעקר סיכיה ומשכניה ורהיט

But let us defile him with a reptile? - He holds: We slaughter [the Passover-offering] and sprinkle [its blood] for a man who is unclean through a reptile.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Since he can have a ritual bath (tebillah) and be fit to eat in the evening.');">⁸</span>
