דאיתפח הדר קא דריש אמרי לא קבילת עלך דלא דרשת בהו אמר אינהו מי הדרו בהו דאנא אהדר בי
had he recovered, than he lectured [upon this] again. They [his disciples] remonstrated with him, 'Did you not undertake not to lecture on them?' — He replied, 'Did they abandon [their evil course], that I should abandon [my habit of lecturing upon them]?' In the college of R. Ashi the lecture [one day] terminated at 'Three Kings.'<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., the lecture on a particular day ended when 'Three Kings' of supra XI, 1, was reached.
