מאי מחמד עיניך לאו ס"ת

But perhaps [this refers to] an idol? — You cannot think so, because it is written, And all the leaders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not unto him, nor consent.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Ibid, 8. 'Elders', by which is meant scholars, would not have counselled him to hold fast to his idols.
