ולא והכתיב (ויקרא כו, לז) וכשלו איש באחיו איש בעון אחיו מלמד שכולן ערבים זה בזה

[i.e.,] if they hold fastto the evil doings of their fathers. Thou sayest thus: Yet perhaps it isnot so, but true even if they do not hold fast to their [evil]doings?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., that they are still held accountable for their fathers' iniquities. ');">³⁰</span>
