חוץ (שמות כ, ו) מלא תשא לא תשא וכל דדמי ליה

[This proves that other negative commands are included in the lighter transgression for which penitence procures atonement].');">¹</span> - 'Thou shalt not take' and others of the same kind.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., all actual negative commandments.');">²</span> Come and hear: R'Judah said: For everything from 'Thou shalt not take' and down repentance procures atonement, for everything from 'Thou shalt take' and up.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' 'Up and down', i.e., before and after.');">³</span>
