A convert [others have Gentile = גוי] that takes upon himself all the obligations of the Torah, and is suspected about one of them, and even [?] about the entire Torah, behold, he is [considered to be] like a Jewish apostate. [Note: The Erfurt Manuscript contains a large gap with hash marks at "אפילו ... על התורה כולה" = "even ... about the entire Torah", indicating missing words. Compare Bekh. 30b:3.]

Rabbi Yosei son of Rabbi Yehudah says, [that is true] even if it is a small thing from [among the] fine points in rabbinic enactments [following Jastrow re "דקדוקי סופרים"].
