מעשה וירדו זקנים מירושלים לעריהם כו' איבעיא להו כמלא תנור תבואה או דלמא כמלא תנור פת
Is it the warring sword? It is already stated [in the same verse], And I will give peace in the land.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lev. XXVI, 6.');"><sup>4</sup></span>

101Babli 22b. They asked Rebbi Eliezer, when may one pray for the rains to stop? He told them, if a person stands on top of the Ophel and with his hands102In the Babli: his feet. makes noise in the Kidron brook. But we trust the merciful Father that He will not bring a deluge over the world. What is the reason? This is to Me like the waters of Noe; as I swore not to bring Noe’s waters another time over the earth103Is. 54:9.
