Commentary for Megillah 32:13
ויאמר המלך לאסתר המלכה בשושן הבירה הרגו היהודים אמר רבי אבהו מלמד שבא מלאך וסטרו על פיו
“And the king said to the queen: In Shushan the castle the Jews have slain . . .” (Esther 9:12). R. Abbahu This teaches us that an angel came and slapped him on his mouth.
Rashi on Megillah
This teaches that an angel came, etc.: For he began to speak with an angry expression, but in the end of it, he said, "What is your request."
